1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account on or using Qinect Hub at https://hub.qinect.com/ (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. About Qinect Hub
Qinect Hub is an entrepreneur–investor–mentor matchmaking platform operated by Qinect SAS, a Société par Actions Simplifiée incorporated in France. References to "Qinect", "we", "us", or "our" refer to Qinect SAS and its associated entities.
3. Eligibility — Pilot phase
During the pilot phase, registration is limited to individuals with a valid @insead.edu email address. We reserve the right to modify eligibility criteria at any time.
4. User accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:
- Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your profile
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with third parties
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Platform for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or business information
- Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce content without prior written consent
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
6. Content & intellectual property
All platform content — including design, logos, text, and software — is the property of Qinect or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, venture descriptions, messages) but grant Qinect a non-exclusive licence to display and use it within the Platform.
7. Matchmaking & connections
Qinect Hub provides match suggestions and facilitates introductions. We do not guarantee the accuracy of match scores, the suitability of any connection, or any commercial outcome resulting from connections made on the Platform.
8. Privacy & data
Your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect and process data necessary to operate the Platform, including your profile information, activity data, and communications.
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and optional analytics cookies subject to your consent. For details, see the Cookie Settings accessible from any page.
9. Third-party services
The Platform may integrate with third-party services (e.g. email providers, AI-powered features). Your use of such features is subject to the relevant third-party terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the Platform or its content.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qinect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the last revision. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.
